Route specific notes and terms.

On the Dover to Calais route drivers of freight vehicles can use the freight drivers restaurant where you pay 1 fee to enter and then it's eat as much as you want!
For the Dunkirk route freight drivers can get a meal in the passenger restaurant but are given a voucher so the price is discounted.

For all other routes, a place needs to be booked on a specific ferry. Bookings can be made 10 days before the crossing, as this is when the ferry operators open the ships for freight vehicles to be booked.
On longer crossings our prices include a shared cabin for the drivers so they can get some rest.

On routes out of Portsmouth, Plymouth, Holyhead & Harwich the nighttime crossing are the most popular and therefore more crowded. Daytime sailings tend to be easier to get space on and can be a more pleasant trip.
